Est. 1890
Our Legacy
A saree house woven through five generations — in the heart of Nagpur.
The Story
Rooted in Nagpur
Wada opened its doors in 1890, in an era when a saree house was as much a community as it was a shop — a place where weavers, families and generations met over six yards of cloth.
Over the decades, we've held to a simple idea: a saree is not merchandise. It is the drape of a wedding, the memory of a mother, the confidence of a first festival. It deserves to be chosen with care.
Wada's story is best told in person. [Full founder details to be verified.]

Craft & Curation
Chosen, not stocked
Every saree at Wada is chosen by hand, from weavers we have known for decades. We travel to Kanchipuram, Varanasi, Paithan and Bengal — and we bring back only what we would drape ourselves.
Trends pass. A well-woven saree does not.
Then & Now
